What is more, there’s entirely nothing that falls outside of God’s sovereign will. You may be able to forecast the answer to these questions and have a pretty good idea of the outcome, but you won’t know God’s will until after the fact. Will the business proposal you pitched get picked up? Will your favorite football, baseball, or basketball team win the championship? Is it God’s will for it to rain tomorrow? In other words, we don’t see this part of God’s will until after it occurs. God’s sovereign will is also known as his “secret” will or his “hidden” will. Let’s take a moment to explore these two sides of the same coin.
